5 things to do in Dubai

5- Aquaventure Waterpark Dubai

Located on the Man-made Palm Island, Aquaventure Is a waterpark turned up to 11. The Aquaventure Waterpark boasts the largest water slide in the world (the Anaconda). The most exciting water slide at the water park has to be "shark attack". Whats interesting about "shark attack" is that part of the ride includes gliding through a shark-filled lagoon.

The Aquaventure Water Park has it all, and you can find out in more detail of the many things they offer by visiting their website

4- Dubai Fountains

The Dubai Fountain is the worlds largest choreographed fountain system. Located at the foot of the Burj Khalifa, the Dubai fountain was designed by the same people who created the world-famous Fountains of Bellagio in Las Vegas. Performances take place at 1.00PM and 1.30pm in the afternoon. In the evening they run every 30 minutes between 6.00PM and 10.00PM in the week and 6.00PM-11.00PM on weekends.

3-Dubai Mall

The Dubai Mall is the largest shopping mall in the world. The mall is part of 20 billion dollar downtown complex and contains almost 1200 shops. Even if shopping isn’t your thing, then the Dubai Mall has a lot more things to do for example
The Hysteria (haunted attraction experience)
A 155 million-year-old dinosaur skeleton
Their 22 screen cinema
Emirates A380 flight simulator
The 7000 meter VR Park
The aquarium and underwater zoo
Kidszania (kids amusement park)
The giant Ice ring.
Dubai mall has nearly everything you could ever want, and probably more.

2- Dubai Old Town

You can get to the Dubai old town by many different modes of transport, but the most cost-effective and most refreshing way to get there is by Abras (boat). The abras run every 10 minutes and cost only 3 Dirhams.

Dubai old town is a great way to see what Dubai was like before their massive redevelopment. The best way to learn about Dubai’s huge rise is at the History of Dubai Museum. The museums home is in the Al Fahidi Fort which is the oldest existing building in Dubai. The local Souq (market) is defiantly worth a visit. Dubai Old towns souq is a great traditional shopping experience where you will find many unique holiday souvenirs. Be prepared to have to say no to a few occasionally pushy salesman on your walk around.

1- The Burj Khalifa

The Burj Khalifa is Dubai's centrepiece. Standing at 2716.5 feet, the Burj Khalifa holds many records, Tallest building in the world, Tallest free-standing structure in the world, building with the highest number of stories in the world, highest outdoor observation deck in the world, elevator with the longest travel distance in the world plus many more.

The Burj Khalifa is hard to miss when you're in Dubai but going to the top of it is a different story. Ticket pricing is slightly complex, so we have found you a link to the ticket prices page to help you decide how high you want to go.
