What's your favourite place you have visited?
A mix between the Philippines and Thailand for beaches, Japan for general culture and food and Argentina/Colombia for music and dance(tango/salsa). Bangkok has one of the best gay scenes we’ve ever experienced, and probably stole our hearts the most, so we always have an eye out for trips to Thailand.
What’s the best thing you have seen while travelling?
Snorkelling with the sea lion pups in the Galapagos islands in Ecuador. They are like puppies in the water - adorable, curious and so playful.
What’s your best travel story?
In Myanmar we forgot our camera in the taxi taking us to the airport. We only found out later that day in our hotel room in Bangkok. It was an expensive camera and holding a LOT of memories, which travel insurance cannot replace. Despite our worries, we got in touch with the hotel we stayed at in Yangon who to our surprise said the taxi driver returned the camera to them, and they had a guest flying to Bangkok the following day! They were able to arrange for that guest to take our camera with them and meet us in Bangkok to return it to us. You have NO idea how relieve we were, but also humbled by the kindness and honestly of that taxi driver and the hotel staff of the Three Seasons Guesthouse in Yangon.
